The Mountaintop Eagle is produced with Apple iMac computers for editorial, circulation and advertising. Deadline is Monday at noon. The paper is distributed throughout Mountaintop on 13 newsstands Tuesday mornings and is delivered by mail to subscriber's homes on Wednesday. The Internet version of the paper is available free to print subscribers and also by paid subscription. It is available by Tuesday evening each week.
The Mountaintop Eagle has a long tradition serving the Mountaintop community since 1970. It is one of the last independently owned and operated newspapers in the region, and maintains its commitment "Dedicated to Quality Community Journalism." Editor and Publisher Stephanie Grubert has been writing the Mountaintop news for 31 years, and has owned the newspaper since 1985.
Kathleen Flower is the Managing Editor of the Mountaintop Eagle. She started with the paper in 1983 as a reporter and now oversees the editorial and final production of each weekly edition.
