Rice Odyssey Of The Mind Teams Succeed In Competition
ODYSSEY OF THE MIND TEAMS representing Rice Elementray School did very well in a local competition on March 8. Several of the teams moved on to the state level competition at Berwick High School on April 12.

Rice Elementary was well represented at Odyssey of the Mind competition on March 8th with six teams representing the school at the local level.

Competing in the Primary Division: The World’s First Art Festival was Evan Poncavage, Abigail Davis, Ella Richards, Kylah Kelly, Elisa Reluzco, and Emily Leicht. This is a non-competition level.

Competing in Division II Problem 2: The Not So-Haunted House problem was Nicole Orlando, Jacob Wells (MS), Brooke Weiss, Madison Weiss (MS), Rachel McFarland (MS), Cameron O’Neill (MS), and James Lanning (MS). The team took 4th place.

Competing in Division II Problem 5: Seeing is Believing was Ricky Reluzco, Cassie Menn, Josh Hudak, Ian Koons, Daniel Gomes, Johnny Olejnik, and Isabela Reluzco. The team took 3rd place.

Competing in Division I Problem 2: The Not So-Haunted House was Emma Guydish, Mac Kline, Natalie Kline, Morgan Koons, Kaitlyn Leicht, Scott Lenio, and Sophia Rucco. The team took 2nd place.

Competing in Division I Problem 1: Driver’s Test was Kira Fenwick, Evan Fey, Shannon Griffiths, Nathan Thomas, Claire Leno, Michael Nicotera, and Olivia Richards. The team took 1st place.

Competing in Division I Problem 4: The Stackable Structure was Brayden Fenwick, Noah Kendra, Caitryn Mullisky, Alex Covelens, Ava Groth, Ruth Mallisky, and Bennett Yermal. The team took 1st place.

Several of the teams moved onto the state level of competition on April 12th at Berwick HS.
