Rev. JP Bohanan, Christ United Methodist Church, 175 South Main Road, welcomes everyone to join us for Worship on the Lord’s Day: 8:30 and 10:45 am.
Nursery is available for infants and toddlers from 10:30 during the second service, however all children are welcome to stay during worship. Holy Communion is offered on the first Sunday of the month and is open to all. The First Sunday of the month has also been designated Food Bank Day. Please bring nonperishable food items to be donated to the Mountain Top Food Bank.
Sunday School and Confirmation Class take place, at 9:30 am, right after the first service. We have classes for ALL ages, including adults. We will tackle some exciting & thought-provoking topics in fun and interesting ways. Bring your questions, thoughts and ideas so that we can learn together and enjoy some fellowship with each other.

Palm Sunday-April 13, services are scheduled at 8:30 and 10:45 a. m.
Holy Thursday-April 17 with a service at 7pm; the Presbyterian Church of Mountain Top will join us for this service.
Good Friday-Community Service at 12:00 pm at Presbyterian Church of Mountain Top.
Good Friday-Cantata & Tenebrae April 18 at 7pm; Easter Sunday is April 20, services at 8:30 & 10:45. . Holy Communion will be served on May 4. All are welcome.
The Friendship Circle will be holding a Homemade Soup Sale. Three varieties of soups will be available for pre-order for $5 per quart. These include Chicken Noodle, Ham and Bean, and Vegetable Beef. Please place your order by April 20, by calling 570-474-5426 or 570-474-5649. Pick up will be on Saturday, April 26 from 10 am-12 pm.
American Red Cross Blood Drive, in Memory of Judi Stanton, will be held on Saturday, April 26, from 9 am -2 pm, in our Fellowship Hall. Our last Blood Drive had a fantastic turn out! Please join us in this worthwhile cause.
If you are interested in joining any of our choirs, please contact the church office. Weekly practices for Choir are Thursdays at 7 pm (Adult), 8:15 pm for Adult Bells, 6 pm for Youth Bells, 7 pm for Cherub Choir, and 7:15 for Children’s Choir.
If anyone has suffered a loss at any time and would like to attend a Grief Support session, these sessions are open to the community and are free of charge. Please call the church office for more information.
