‘Hoops For Hope’ Fundraiser Benefits Relay For Life

The Crestwood School District and Mountain Top Relay for Life presented the present the 6th Annual Hoops for Hope at Crestwood High School last week.

Over 500 people attended to watch teachers, students and law enforcement participate in a charity basketball event to benefit the Mountaintop Relay for Life on May 17-18.

The seniors defeated local law enforcement officers in the finals, and the high school teachers defeated their elementary counterparts for third place.

Crestwood seniors plyers were: Josh Amosson, Brandon Cole, Chris Fazzini, Brady Gallagher, Donny Hopkins, Adam Klimchok, Brian Markowski, Gabby Termini and Taryn Wojnar.

Team members for the elementary schools were: Ms. Foster, Fairview principal; and Fairview teachers, Mr. Mrokos, and Mrs. Oravic. Playing from Rice Elementary were: Mr. Seyer, principal; Mrs. Humphries, Mrs. Iracki, Mr. Maylath, Mrs. Taney, Mrs. Wallace, and Mrs. Zaykoski.

Law enforcement officers who played from Wright Township were: Aaron Fromm, Scott Rozitski, and David Winsock; and Fairview Township: Jerry heck, Dennis Monk, and Gerry Ricci; Rice Township: Brian Stout and R. J. Suda; Hanover Township: Lauren Ricci, and PVSD: Amy Miller.

High school teachers playing were: Mrs. Arcangeli, Mr. Arcangeli, Mr. Bellas, Mr. Henderson, Mr. Herring, Mr. Lenio, Mr. Reznak, Mr. Sinclair and Mr. Sapak.
