ST. JUDE’S VOLUNTEERS HONORED AT TEA

ST. JUDE’S VOLUNTEERS HONORED AT TEA-Each year during Catholic Schools Week, St. Jude School observes a Volunteer Appreciation Day in order to honor those people who provide invaluable service to the school as volunteers. Numerous parents give their time to help in the cafeteria, library, school store, recess supervision, PTG activities, and so much more. All school volunteers were invited to attend Mass with the student body followed by a tea in their honor. These volunteers were recognized as an integral part of the community of St. Jude’s School. During the tea, musical selections were provided by the students in the PreKindergarten and Kindergarten classes and the school choir. A handmade angel was given to each volunteer as a token of the school’s appreciation.
