Thursday, February 13 Snow Moon Hike; 6:00 pm
Ages 18 & up. Set out on the trail at dusk to enjoy a 2-mile hike under a near-full moon. The February moon is known as the snow moon since the heaviest snows typically fall this month. This hike may be modified in the event of cloud cover. Participants should dress for the weather and wear sturdy winter hiking shoes. Snowshoes may be available if more than 6” of snow is on the ground. Registration required by calling 570-403-2006. Free.
Friday, February 21
Homeschool Education Day: The Science of Bird Watching; 9:00 am –12noon
Students will take an in depth look at birds and their habitats; focusing on bird identification, adaptations, and more. Parents: please have exact number and ages of students when calling to register. Registration required by calling 570-403-2006. Free.
