Holy Communion is offered on the first Sunday of the month and is open to all. The First Sunday of the month has also been designated Food Bank Day. Please bring nonperishable food items to be donated to the Mountain Top Food Bank.
Sunday School and Confirmation Class take place, at 9:30 am, right after the first service.
`There are classes for all ages, including adults. We will tackle some exciting & thought-provoking topics in fun and interesting ways. Bring your questions, thoughts and ideas so that we can learn together and enjoy some fellowship with each other.
New Series: The Adult Sunday School class will focus for six weeks on the subject of “Christianity and World Religions: Wrestling With Questions People Ask,” in the hope that we will come to a better understanding of our world, a greater appreciation of the differences among religious people and a stronger grasp of our own faith. This six-week study will start on January 19, 2014.
This is a video-based small-group study that explores four major world religions -Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam and Judaism –and compares the beliefs of each with those of Christianity. This study deals openly and honestly with questions people ask about other religions.
As part of the study, the author and presenter (Reverend Adam Hamilton, founding pastor of the Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas) interviews a religious leader from each religion. After this series is concluded, we will have a one-week study on Jehovah’s Witnesses. Nursery care will be provided for parents wishing to attend. Please join us!
