Seeing The Lights At Emmanuel UCC

The sun is rising earlier and the days are getting longer as we make our way to Spring. Just as the sun brightens our earth, the Son of God brightens our lives. The baby born at Christmas grows into a child and then a man, bringing the true light of God’s love to the world. Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.” We are glad that God gave us such a brilliant light to illuminate our path to Heaven and be an example to us. The light that Jesus shines on us is to be reflected in all that we say and do so that everyone around us can know the love of God through us. Jesus also said, “You are the light of the world…. Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.” So, shine on, Christians, and spread God’s light to all.

On Sunday mornings, we start with Sunday School at 9:00 am for group time and then divide up for lessons, games and crafts. We then meet at 10:30 am for Worship Service. On January 19, our greeters will be Connie Davis and Camille Daniels and our liturgist will be Brooke Rinehimer. Come, join us for worship this Sunday. We welcome everyone into our Father’s house.
