Crestwood JV Iceman McCune Scores Hat Trick Against Pittston
FIGHTING FOR THE PUCK-No 66 Kevin Frisbie fought for the puck during the game against Pittston Area on January 5th. Frisbie scored Crestwood’s lone goal in the game.

Crestwood JV Hockey Team faced Wyoming Area on January 4th at Revolution Ice Centre in Pittston. No. 66 Kevin Frisbie scored the only goal of the game for the Comets. He was assisted by No. 87 Tyler Govan. Despite having 26 shots on goal the team lost 8-1. The goal was tended by No. 3 Patrick Croke.

Crestwood then faced Pittston Area on January 5th at Revolution Ice Centre in Pittston. No. 32 Jared McCune got the scoring going with an assisted goal with No. 1 TJ Kulak. Pittston answered with their only goal of the game in the first period. The second period continued with Crestwood’s scoring with first an unassisted goal by Frisbie and followed by an unassisted goal by No. 45 Jacob Maher. McCune finished the period with a pair of goals, the first being assisted by No. 44 Matthieu Lacoste; the second unassisted, completing his hat trick. The team had 39 shots on goal and the No. 50 Reed Karaksa tended the goal for the win over Pittston 5 to 1.

The team is lead by head coach Carl Karaska and assistant coaches Frank Govan and Bill Ziegler.
