Prayer Jan. 11 Everyone Welcome To Worship At Emmanuel United

is “ Children’s Come on in! We’re openfor business ( even after Christmas)! Advent and Christmas certainly are the busiest seasons of the Christian year. All those preparations leading up to the celebration of Christ’s birth can leave you breathless and just

a bit crazy. Then comes January and all the excitement is done. It’s time to relax and make plans for the coming year. One item to add to your plans could be to continue to worship regularly. Sometimes it seems that is not as easy as it sounds. After all, we just need to come into the church and turn our hearts to

God. Simple, right? But maybe not so simple for those of us with young children. It’s sometimes difficult to get everyone dressed and ready to go. Then, there’s the actual time of worship. Between getting the children settled into their seats and finding activities for them during worship, many parents miss out on having a

meaningful worship experience. At Emmanuel, a Nursery Time is offered so that everyone can relax and worship. All children are welcome in our services. Then, after the YoungChristian’s Message ( children’s sermon), the young ones up to age 6 can go to the Nursery where they have a

supervised children’s time. While the children enjoy their time, the youth and adults can focus on God and truly join together in praiseand prayer. “ Then he saidto them, ‘ Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me also welcomes my Father who sent me. Whoever is the least among you isthe greatest.’”( Luke 9: 48) Welcome, children. Welcome, everyone who

worships our Lord. On Sunday mornings, we start with SundaySchool at 9: 00 am for group time and then divide up for lessons, games and crafts. We thenmeet at 10: 30 am for Worship Service. On January 12, our greeters will be Judy Cybulski and Connie Myers and our liturgist will be Dave Myers. Come, join us for worship this Sunday. We welcome everyone into

our Father’s
