MARIONETTE THEATRE PRESENTED AT ST. JUDE’S

MARIONETTE THEATRE PRESENTED AT ST. JUDE’S-The Mock Turtle Marionette Theatre, based on the puppets and scripts of Doug Roysdon, presented a wonderful blend of storytelling, audience participation and puppetry to the students of St. Jude School. The program uses visual and literary arts to celebrate the importance of reading. The puppets were used as an educational tool to introduce the students to such characters as The Bremantown Musicians, Br’er Rabbit, and Jumping Mouse. Following the stage presentation, puppet-making workshops were held for all grade levels. The program was sponsored by the Parent Teacher Guild. Shown are in front are Hannah Chertow, Tommy Dugan, Hayden Fleegle, Avery Cloutier, and Katie Gallagher. Back: Roysdon.
