St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Collecting Winter Coats

The congregation of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Mountain Top encourages you to join them for worship this week. The following is a brief summary of upcoming worship and service opportunities.

Pastor Michele D. Kaufman leads Sunday worship services at St. Paul’s at 8:30 am, and 11:00 am. The Church office (570-474-6616) is open Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Pastor Kaufman is in the office Mondays 10:00am -12:00pm and Wednesdays, 11:00am to 1:00pm

The Food Bank is open Every Friday, from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. If you fell you have been blessed, you are welcome to come as well to leave a donation of non-perishable items, or a gift check to help keep up with the demand.

The Food Bank is closed November 29th, the day after Thanksgiving.

BRRRRRRRRRRR!! It is getting cold outside, If you have any winter coats or jackets for adults or children that you may feel you do not need any longer please just bring them to St. Paul’s Church during Office hours of operation 8:30am to 12:30pm Monday to Friday. We will be happy to help take them off your hands and give to someone who would be just as grateful to you for it.

On Friday Nights, AA meetings are held at 7:00 pm.

Thursday nights, NA meetings begin at 6:00 pm.

Wednesday nights, the Weight

Watchers group meets at 6:15pm.

Open to the Public : Every Monday at Wright Manor in Mountain Top we hold a Bible Study at 2:00pm.

The 5K Rock Run is a charity fun Run/Walk scheduled to benefit Kristin Hoovler. Kristin was recently in a serious motorcycle accident. She was wearing her helmet, which saved her life, but still suffered a traumatic brain injury. Her recovery is coming along unbelievably better then was expected, however she is still in need of much rehabilitation and recover will be long and slow.

Funds raised will help with the medical costs, travel and home modifications to improve accessibility.

The 5K Rock Run/Walk is scheduled Saturday, November 30. The race starts at 1:00pm, registration opens at 11:00 am The event will be held at Nescopeck State Park, 1137 Honey Hole Road, Drums. In person registration will be held at the event from 11:00 am-12:30pm on November 30.
