‘Cards To Heroes’ Project To Benefit PA Wounded Warriors
‘CARDS TO HEROES’ St. Jude Student Mary Grace Eckert is working on her “Cards To Heroes” project to benefit the Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors. Cards will be available at Carone’s Market on Tuesday evening Nov. 26, and Dec. 3; Friday evening, Dec. 6; Saturday afternoon, Dec., 7 and Tuesday evening, December 10.

Mary Grace Eckert, a 6th grade student at St. Jude School, is working on her “Cards to Heroes” project to send a Christmas message to our soldiers who were injured overseas while also raising money for the Pennsylvania Wounded Warrior Project.

Mary Grace is selling Christmas cards for a donation to benefit our Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors.

“Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, Inc. is a Pennsylvania non-profit corporation,” explains Mary Grace. “Everyone in the organization is an unpaid volunteer. So that means 100% of all your donations goes to help our warriors.”

Mary Grace continues to note, “The Pennsylvania Wounded Warrior Project is a very worthy cause and is a way we can help our wounded heroes that have given their lives for us. Please be generous with your donations. Our wounded heroes are counting on you.”

You can purchase your card from Mary Grace, add your message to your card, and return the card to Mary Grace by December 10. Please call (570) 991-1844 to get a Christmas card and make a donation.

The cards will be delivered to the Walter Reed National Military Center and all donations will benefit the Pennsylvania Wounded Warrior Project.

“Thank you for your support and Merry Christmas!”
