The College Guidance Department at Wyoming Seminary Upper School will host a special forum titled “The College Forum: Local Gems.” The forum will feature admission directors from local colleges and universities discussing the value of attending a local college on Wed., Dec. 11 at 7 p. m. in the Stettler Learning Resources Center, N. Sprague Ave. , Kingston. The forum is free and open to the public..
The program will offer a panel discussion about the wide variety of opportunities and degree programs that exist locally. The panelists will explore topics such as commuting versus living on campus, liberal arts and pre-professional programs, studying full-time or part-time and the merits of enrolling in honors courses and accelerated programs. Representatives of Keystone College, King’s, LCCC, Marywood, Misericordia, University, University of Scranton and Wilkes will take part.
The panelists will take questions from the audience and be available after the forum.
