A resident of Mill Street asked for assistance in securing safe bus transportation for his daughter. President Aigeldinger and School Board Solicitor Jack Dean advised that they have reviewed the situation and a resolution is in the works.

In other business parent Michael Moyer asked the board for more information about the role of technology in the student curriculum. He asked a series of questions about Crestwood’s standing with other schools. After the meeting he said that he was basically asking about the quality of Crestwood’s ranking among other public schools. “I’m just trying to improve it.” He said his interest is the position of the stakeholders in improving education. “We are all in this together.”

The board also resolved the appointment of auxiliary staff including Joseph Ziegler as Band Director at $4,743; Jazz Ensemble for $3,019 and Dramatics Musical Director for $2,310. It was also announced that the Crestwood Homecoming Football Game is scheduled for Saturday, October 5th against Hazleton at a 7 pm game. All of the Homecoming events will culminate at the game.
