Gold Award Candidate Ciera McGraw Hosting ‘A Voice For Bullies; Adoption And Education’
GOLD AWARD candidate Ciera McGraw is hosting “A Voice for Bullies: Adoptions and Education” on August 31 at Villeage Pet Supply in Hanover Township. The event is for her Girl Scout Gold Award project. Ciera is shown with her dog, Emi, a pit-bull mix.

Girl Scout Ciera McGraw, 18, is hosting an event called “A Voice for Bullies: Adoption and Education” on Saturday, August 31 at Village Pet Supply on the Sans Souci Parkway in Hanover Township from 9 a. m. to 1 p. m.

A former resident, Ciera lived in Mountaintop since 2003 and has been a Girl Scout since 2004. She is hosting this event in order to obtain her Gold Award, Girl Scouting’s highest award.

The purpose of a “A Voice for Bullies” is to bring awareness and education to the Pit Bull breeds. Ciera has teamed up with LCPO, Luzerne County Pit Bull Owners, to make this important event successful. There will also be adoptable dogs available. The event is open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend.

Ciera, a recent graduate of Agora Cyber Charter School, is going to attend college and major in photography.
