ST. JUDE’S STUDENTS DISSECTION -Seventh grade students at St. Jude learned dissecting skills in their life science class. The culminating activity for the units on vertebrates and invertebrates was dissecting a pig. They also dissected worms, clams, crayfish, frogs, starfish, and sharks. The specimens are provided for the students through funds from the Parent Teacher Guild. The students dissected the heart, observed the circulatory system, dissected the digestive system, examined the brain and nervous system, and studied other systems and organ characteristics.
