QUILT RAFFLE AT ST. JUDE PICNIC

QUILT RAFFLE AT ST. JUDE PICNIC-The St. Jude Parish will be holding their 60th annual Picnic in the Grove the weekend of August 9, 10th and 11th in Mountain Top. Among the many items that will be raffled is this machine pieced, hand quilted, queen-size quilt, made by the women of the parish, Vicky Schwartz, Marilynn Teitelbaum, Betty Czeck, Mary Jane Gendler, Rosemary Mulcahy and Marguerite Breen, shown with Assistant Pastor, Father Jerry Shantillo. From left to right: The picnic features live entertainment Better with Beer (Friday 7-11 p. m.),Mr. Echo (Saturday 7-11 p. m.),Flashback (Sunday 12-4 p. m.) and Chixy Dix (Sunday 5-9 p. m); great food -Haluski, Potato Pancakes, Pulled Pork, Italian favorites at the Italian Corner, an open pit BBQ Chicken Dinner on Sunday at Noon and desserts galore in the Sweet House. New this year is the Backyard BBQ Bonanza – take a chance to win a top of the line gas grill and all the fixings for your first outdoor BBQ. The picnic Grand Prize raffle this year is $10,000 with four

additional chances to win $1000, $750, $500, or $250. Raffle tickets are now available at the Parish Center, 420 South Mountain Boulevard.
