Caroline Jones Chosen State Finalist In National American Miss Pagaent

Caroline Jones, Mountaintop, has been chosen as a State Finalist in the National American Miss Pageant to be held in August in Harrisburg.

National American Miss is one of the largest, most popular, and most prestigious pageant systems in the world. Caroline, 17, will be competing in the teen age division, along with other outstanding young ladies from across Pennsylvania.

The National American Miss Pageants are dedicated to celebrating America’s future leaders and equipping them with life-long skills. The Pageant program is based on inner-beauty, as well as poise and presentation.

Caroline is completing her junior year and is an Honors Student at Holy Redeemer H. S. She participated in a number of leadership programs including National People to People program, High O’Brien Youth Leadership Seminar (HOBY), International Student Leadership Institute, and Junior Leadership Wilkes-Barre.

Caroline is very active in her school and community. She is an Ambassador Girl Scout, volunteers as a Candy Striper, is president of the Kirby Library Teen Advisory Group, and enjoys public speaking and performing piano and guitar. Caroline is very involved in a number of activities at St. Jude Church and is a member of Holy Redeemer’s National Honor Society, Chorus, Theatre and many club activities.

She is the daughter of Janet and Bill Jones, Mountaintop.
