St. Paul’s Planning Children’s Summer Camp Program

The congregation of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Mountain Top encourages you to join them.

Pastor Michele D. Kaufman leads Sunday worship services, at St. Paul’s, at 8:30 a. m. and 11:00 a. m. The church office, (570-474-6616) is open Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a. m. to 12:30 p. m.

Sunday school is held at 9:30 a. m., with a nursery being provided for infants through kindergarten, at the 11:00 a. m. worship service. An Adult Sunday School is held between services. The Adult Choir rehearses every Sunday at 9:30 a. m., in the choir room, and the Bell Choir rehearses every Thursday at 6:00 p. m.

St. Paul’s is selling pasties, with or without onions, and potpies, which will be delivered on Wednesday, May 29th. The cost is $6 each.

St. Paul’s will be offering a summer camp program for children ages 3 -5, as well as a new school age program for children who completed kindergarten through second grade. They will be offering two 8 day sessions, which will run Monday through Thursday from 9 -12pm, at a cost of $96 per session. Session 1 will run: July 15-25 and session 2 will run: August 5 -14. The Northeastern PA. Synod Assembly will be held at Mohegan Sun on June 14-15. They will be reviewing the collective work of the 287 congregations of our synod. Volunteers are needed. The Mountaintop Free Medical Clinic is open on Monday evenings, from 6:30 to 7:30 p. m. Patients are seen on a first-come basis. Volunteer doctors and nurses donate their time to provide medical assistance free of charge to those who have limited or no medical coverage.

Mountain Top Food Bank is open Fridays, from 9:30 a. m. to noon. Items needed: coffee, peanut butter, jelly, ketchup, dry soup, pudding and Jell-O mixes, popcorn, pork & beans, canneded goods, mustard, mayonnaise, tuna, macaroni & cheese and pasta, (not spaghetti noodles).
