PIRANHAS DOMINATE WYOMING VALLEY SPORTS DOME FIELD HOCKEY SESSIONS-The Piranhas field hockey team of girls ranging from 10-13 years old took the championship for the first Dome session in January 2013. The Piranhas entered the championship game undefeated and captured the title for the second consecutive year. In an effort to continue to develop and challenge the team, Coach Larry Griffiths moved the team to the under 8th grade division for the second Dome session. The girls enter the championship game with 4 wins, 4 losses and 2 tie games. The girls won the first and second championship game and entered the final game against the undefeated team. Both teams fought hard until the very end with the Piranhas taking the win for the championship 1-0 with 54 seconds left on the clock. Congratulations to the Piranhas and Coach Larry Griffiths.
