ST. JUDE’S TEAMS PARTICIPATE IN FORENSICS COMPETITION

ST. JUDE’S TEAMS PARTICIPATE IN FORENSICS COMPETITION-The annual regional spring competition of the Diocese of Scranton Forensics League was recently held at Holy Redeemer High School in Wilkes-Barre. Junior varsity and varsity teams from St. Jude School in Mountaintop participated in this event where the theme was dramatic presentation of memorized plays. Presentations were to be four to seven minutes including an introduction to set the scene and the mood for the play. Winners from the regional level will advance to the diocesan finals to be held at St. Clare/St. Pauls’ School in Scranton. The team of Matthew Hayden, Taylor Josefowicz, and Emily Thomas was awarded Third Place in the junior varsity division and will advance.
