INDOOR STATE SOCCER CUP CHAMPIONS-The Upper 90 United Soccer Training Academy recently won the Eastern Pennsylvania Indoor State Cup Championship. The tournament was held at the “In The Net” facility which is located in Palmyra Pa. The team competed in the U19 age bracket. The team, under Coach Rob Havard, played three games in the Championship rounds. Games 1 and 2 ended with shutout victories with the scores of 2-0 and 3-0, respectively. The final game ended in a 1 to 1 tie but was enough to seal the victory in overall points for Upper 90. The players went out on top in their last State Cup game and many will continue playing soccer next year at the collegiate level. Upper 90 is a local travel soccer team with players from Dallas, Crestwood, Wyoming Valley West, Coughlin and GAR.
