The sun is rising earlier and the days are getting longer as we make our way to Spring. Just as the sun brightens our earth, the Son of God brightens our lives. The baby born at Christmas grows into a child and then a man, bringing the true light of God’s love to the world. Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.”
We are glad that God gave us such a brilliant light to illumine our path to Heaven and be an example to us. The light that Jesus shines on us is to be reflected in all that we say and do so that everyone around us can know the love of God through us. Jesus also said, “You are the light of the world…. Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.” So, shine on, Christians, and spread God’s light to all.
Sunday mornings at 9:30 am is Sunday School for ages 3 through 6th grade. Our great program is based on our Hands On Bibles. We’ll have fun making crafts, playing games, and solving puzzles which help us understand the stories in our Hands On Bibles. Come join us as we learn about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
Teen Talk is for anyone in 7th grade and above. We meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am to talk about God and Jesus, how our lives are influenced by them and how we can be an influence to others around us. There are so many things that try to manipulate us away from God. Come to Teen Talk and find other teens who want to make their faith stronger and be better at dealing with ideas and things that pull us away from being Christians.
Sunday worship service is at 10:30 am and is led by Pastor Lou Aita. We welcome visitors and friends to join us for worship every Sunday.
