Delbert Morgan III, 45, Mountain Top, died unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 19, 2018.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of Delbert Morgan II and the late Concetta Abbott Morgan.
Del attended Crestwood High School and was the owner/operator of Calex Trucking.
He was a family man at heart, often referring to his wife and four girls as his beloved family. He shared 26 years with the love of his life, his wife, Diane. His proudest moments were becoming a father, sharing time with all “his girls,” working on the race cars or at the track.
Del truly enjoyed the ride, whether it be behind the wheel of a race car, trucking to provide for his family or enjoying the freedom of his motorcycles.
He was a honored husband, father, son, brother, uncle and cousin. A friend to so many, Del will forever be remembered for his simple pranks, unique one-of-a-kind selfies and garage floor dancing. He was a great free spirit and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his mother, by his son, Matthew Morgan; paternal grandparents, Delbert Sr. and Charlaine J. Morgan; maternal grandparents, Eugene and Concetta Jenkins; as well as numerous family members.
Del is survived by the love of life, his wife, Diane Deininger Morgan; his four beautiful daughters, Kayla, Alexis, Haley and Elishia; his son-in-law, Joe; his father, Delbert Morgan II; his sister, Kelly Malys and her husband, Chris; his nephew, Chris Malys; his niece, Shelby Malys; and numerous family members.
Arrangements were by McCune Funeral Home, Mountain Top.
Monetary donations would be appreciated.
