Esther A. Heller, 93, Dorrance Twp., died Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, surrounded by her family.
Born Dec. 2, 1924, she was the daughter of the late William and Edith Huttenstine. Esther married her husband, Ernest Heller, in 1943. As a full-time mother and wife, Esther devoted her life to her family and working alongside her husband on the farm. Always cooking and baking, she cherished sharing time with family and friends and was a warm, welcoming and loving presence to all who entered her home. As a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, she enjoyed working with her daughter on the church’s newsletter.
In addition to her parents, and husband, Ernest, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Stanley Cybulski; granddaughter, Susan Filozof; brothers, Clyde and Lester Huttenstine; and sister, Alma Hoch. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Judith Cybulski; son, William Heller and wife, Patricia; cherished grandchildren, Edward Heller and wife, Kelly; James Cybulski; Jacqueline Podlaski and husband, Adam; adored great-granddaughters, Savannah Rish and Madeline Heller; sisters, Martha Grosz and Dorothy Heller; and many nieces and nephews. Heller Funeral Home LLC, 633 E. Third St., Nescopeck. The funeral service was held in Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Dorrance Twp. Interment followed in the parish cemetery.
