Mrs. Justine Gulczynski, Mountain Top, died surrounded by her loving family Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, at her home.
Born Dec. 3, 1946, in Bear Creek, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Stefanisko Sapp.
Justine was a 1964 graduate of Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, and was employed at the Social Security Administration for 35 years, retiring in 2011.
She was a loving mother and grandmother, and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was also a devoted member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Cathedral, Wilkes-Barre.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, George, Stephen Jr., and John Sapp; and sisters, Esther Dancheck, Eva Fischer, and Mary Adamitis.
Surviving is her husband, Raymond Gulczynski, with whom she celebrated 50 years of marriage May 13; daughters, Renee Eyerman and her husband, Scott, of Mountain Top, and Kristen Brisk and her fiancé, Bill Reznak, of Mountain Top; grandchildren, Corey Eyerman, Alexander and Nicholas Brisk, and Liam Reznak, whom she cherished and adored; and sister, Evelyn Suhoski, of Bear Creek. Also, several nieces and nephews.
She is now our heavenly angel who watches over and loves us all. She will be sadly missed by her grand babies, husband, and daughters. May her memory be eternal and soul be established in paradise and dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Funeral was held at Holy Resurrection Orthodox Cathedral, Wilkes-Barre. The Reverend Timothy Cremeens, pastor, officiated. Interment followed in Fern Knoll Burial Park, Dallas.

Justine’s family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Erwine Hospice and the staff at Medical Oncology Associates for their kindness and compassion.
