Mr. and Mrs. Bernard McCole IV

Kristina Marie Scatton, daughter of Frank and Madonna Scatton, Mountain Top, and Bernard Joseph McCole IV, son of Bernard and Jacqueline McCole, Mountain Top, were united in marriage in a double ring ceremony performed by Rev. Joseph Evanko at Saint Mary, Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Wapwallopen.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Hailea Robick as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Alyssa McCole, sister of the groom; Megan McCole, sister of the groom; Madeline Matusik, Heather Schafer, Hilary Wahler, and Victoria Roth.

Shawn McCole, brother of the groom, performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Michael Scatton, brother of the bride; Jared Schafer, Bryan Coslett, Chase Thompson, Sean McCallion, and Clinton Hannon.

Readings were given by Kelly Marchetti, cousin of the bride; Kailee Krupski, cousin of the groom; and Sean Pietrone, friend of the bride and groom. Gifts were presented by Michelle Lee, aunt of the bride, and Stefen Krupski, cousin of the groom.

Following a reception given by the brides’ parents at the Valley Country Club, Sugarloaf, the couple left on a honeymoon trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico. They now reside in Perkiomenville.

The bride is a 2010 graduate of Crestwood High School, and a 2014 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. She is currently employed as a Senior Marketing & Leasing Specialist with University City Housing in Bryn Mawr, PA. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Scatton, Mr. Martin Peak, and the late Roseanne Peak.

The groom also attended Crestwood High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology. He is currently employed as a Pennsylvania State Parole Agent in Philadelphia. He is the grandson of Gayle Faraday, the late Mr. Ralph Faraday; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bernard McCole II.

A shower in honor of the bride was given by her mother-in-law at the Irem Temple Country Club, Dallas, and a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s father at Top of the 80’s restaurant, Hazleton.
