‘Forever In My Heart’Winter Coat Drive

The Boy Scouts of America and the Wascavage Family, to honor the memory of their son Matthew Wascavage, are collecting winter coats, hats, gloves, scarves and mittens for those in need. All sizes for children and adult are needed. Please drop off new and gently used winter items in the collection boxes located in the Mountaintop Eagle office at 85. S. Main Road, the NEPA Boy Scouts of America office on Montage Mountain Road, and Lewith & Freeman office Mountaintop. Donations will be accepted now up to December 29. Thank you for your help in keeping someone warm this winter. Items will be taken to the St. Vincent DePaul Soup Kitchen clothes room and shelter locations throughout Northeastern and Central PA. Fairview PTA Meeting

The Fairview Elementary PTA will be having our monthly meeting on Thursday, December 14th at 6 pm in the school’s library. All parents/grandparents/guardians of Fairview Elementary students are encouraged to attend the meeting to learn about upcoming events at the school. Babysitting will be provided.

Santa Tour In Wright, Rice Twps.

Santa Claus will be arriving at the Wright Twp. Fire Station on Sunday, December 17 and will begin traveling through Wright and Rice Townships at 9 a. m. He will be traveling most of the main roads and at least a central road in each development. Listen for the music because Santa will be sure to follow!

Santa To Tour Fairview Twp.

Santa will be touring the developments of Fairview Township aboard a fire truck of the Mountaintop Hose. Company No. 1 on Sunday, December 17 from 1 to 3 p. m. Children of ll ages are encouraged to come out to the curb as Santa passes and receive a candy cane from Santa. For more information contact Jason Menghini at 570-500-5003.

‘We Three’ Christmas Concert

“We Three” Trombone trio will present a concert of festive Christmas and holiday music at 1:30 pm on December 17th. This well-known and unique trombone trio will be performing the beloved songs of the season as part of Christmas at St. Martin’s. There will be a meet and greet reception hosted by the St. Martin’s Auxiliary after the concert. Admission to the concert and the reception is free.
