Fanny M. Frascella, 87, Mountain Top, died Oct. 2, 2017, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.
Born in Trenton, N. J., on March 6, 1930, she was the daughter of the late John and Angelina Brogel.
Fanny was a member of St. Jude Parish, Mountain Top.
She was employed by RCA, Mountain Top, until her retirement in 1990. Following her retirement, she enjoyed spending time quilting and was a member of the Chenille’s Quilting Club, as well as the St. Jude Breakfast Club.
Her other interests included traveling, crocheting, knitting and a love for reading. Fanny’s ultimate joy was spending time with her beloved family, who meant the world to her.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Florence, Carolyn and Catherine, and her brothers, Dominic, James, Elmer, Michael and Leonard.
Surviving are her loving husband of 63 years, Daniel N. Frascella; sons, Daniel and his wife, Janet, and Thomas and his wife, Gretchen; her loving grandchildren, Brianne, Daniel, Ryan, Ann and Jane; brother, Albert Brogel and wife, Jennie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Fanny’s Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Jude Parish. Rev. Joseph Evanko officiated.
Interment followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
Arrangements were by Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre.
