Fritzingertown Senior Living Community, 159 S. Old Turnpike Road in Drums, is having a Fall Craft and Vendor Fair on Saturday, Sept. 9, from 10 am to 3 p. m. There will be tricky trays, food and refreshments as well as a Fall mum sale. It’s free to the public. All proceeds will benefit the Hazleton Animal Shelter.
Stock up for your fall reading at St. Martin’s Book Nook sales. Fill a bag with your selections for just $5. The Nook will be open from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m. on the second and fourth Saturdays of September from 4 to 7 p. m. on the second and fourth Wednedays. There are books for children and adults. You are sure to find a book or two for your fall reading.

GFWC Mountain Top will hold their regular monthly meeting on September 11th at 6:30 pm at the Christ United Methodist Church 175 S. Main Road Mountain Top. The activity this month is a Potluck Dinner. Area women ages 18 and older are always welcome to attend and learn more about the club. The Mountain Top Garden Club will meet on Tuesday, September 12th at 6:30 p. m. at the Rice Township municipal building. Bring a perennial in a small pot to exchange with a Garden Club member! The Garden Club meeting is open to the public and new members are always welcome! The membership fee is only $10 for the remainder of the year.
