Julia Adamczyk, Mountain Top, died Aug. 23, 2017, at Mountain Top Senior Care and Rehab.

Born Jan. 20, 1921, in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late John and Julia Kupha Partash.

Julia attended Wilkes-Barre area schools, and was a graduate of Smith Nursing School. She was employed in the area garment and shoe factories for many years.

Julia was a member of St. John Byzantine Catholic Church, Wilkes-Barre Twp. She enjoyed crafts and sewing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; daughter, Eloise Ann, in 1949; grandchildren, Michael and Thomas; brothers, Andrew, John Jr. and Michael Partash; and sister, Mary George.

Surviving are her son, Thomas Adamczyk and his wife, Michaline, Mountain Top; daughters, Mary Ann Shubilla and her husband, Stanley, Philadelphia; Juliann Lewis, Laurel, Md.; and Elaine M. Luther and her husband, Butch, Hughesville, Md.; grandchildren, Laura Shubilla, Sandra Moumoutjis, Scott Lewis, Kimberley Brown, Scooter and John Luther, David, Brian, Ricky, and Matthew Adamczyk; great-grandchildren, Zoe, Ana, Eva, Owen, Lucas, Veronica, Anthony, Austin V., Meagan, Maddy, Dayton, Jessica, Dominique, Michael, Samantha, D. J., Stephen, Brianna, Kristen, Nicole, and Grace; sister, Ann O’Krogly, N. J.; and brother, George Partash, Sugar Notch.

Funeral services were held from Jendrzejewski Funeral Home.
