Wilkes University welcomes over 600 students into the class of 2021.
Class members include the following Mountaintop residents: Adam Abad, a computer science major; Alex Abad, mechanical engineering major; Lisa Blackwell, business administration major; Gregory Chang, pre-pharmacy major; Eric Cooper, undeclared major; Sierra Erwine, science major; Rebecca Evans, nursing major; Natalie Everett, pre-pharmacy major; Siri Fredmund, nursing major; Joseph Grandinetti, undeclared major; Noah Jackson, accounting major; Emily Lehman, physics major;Jessica Miorelli, musical theater major; Neal Sowers, undeclared major; Steven Starbuck, nursing major; Andrew Tuck, biology major; and Justin Whetstone, mechanical engineering major.
Nuangola resident William Reilley is a computer science major.

Wapwallopen resident Ciara Michno is a sociology major.
Prior to the start of classes on Monday, Aug. 28, incoming freshmen attended Welcome Weekend on Aug. 25 –27, a three-day weekend for all residential and commuter first year students. It began with a convocation ceremony that formally marks the start of their academic careers at Wilkes. Other activities includde a scavenger hunt of library resources, social activities, introduction to Wilkes University traditions, and a variety of informational workshops.
