St. Mary’s Knights Of Columbus Looking For New Members

WELCOME! St. Mary’s warmly welcomes all visitors! If you are new to our parish community, please be sure to introduce yourself to Fr. Joe and Fr. Kevin. Contact the parish office if you would like to become a member of our parish.

The weekend Mass schedule is Saturday at 5:30 p. m. and Sunday at 9 a. m.

Religious Education Mass Cards-There is a blue basket in the back of the Church near the Infant of Prague. Please put your Mass Attendance Cards in the basket.

Registration forms the 2017-18 school year can be found in the vestibule file holder. Cost is $20 per students (K-6). Forms may be dropped in the offertory basket.

Shut-Ins-If someone you know is unable to attend Mass, but would like to receive Communion or receive a copy of our weekly bulletin, please contact the office.

Bulletin-If you have information that you would like to place in the bulletin (community news, society/ social news, etc.), please have it at the parish office by Tuesday morning.

Buildings & Use: Please remember to check with the parish office prior to scheduling any meetings or activates. This includes borrowing tables and chairs, as well.

Wedding Prep-You’re engaged! Now what? When planning your wedding your first phone call should be to Father Joe -before you set the date. You have to make sure the church and priest are available. Happy Planning!

The Miracle of Christmas-Mark your calendars for The Miracle of Christmas! The show will be at the Sight and Sound Theatre in Lancaster, PA, on Tuesday, November 14. The Cost, $125 adults and $70 children, includes the show, transportation & tip, and dinner and gratuity at Miller’s Smorgasbord. Half payment is due with reservation. Liturgy Schedule All St. Jude Daily Masses (MonFri)willbeheld

Temporary Liturgy Schedule-Due to the final stages of construction of the new church, the following temporary changes will be in effect until further notice:

Saturday and Sunday Masses at St. Jude will be in the gym.

There will be one daily Mass at St. Mary with a St. Jude intention and a St. Mary intention. (The Church provides for two intentions at one Mass for emergency pastoral reasons and a short period of time. This will enable us not to fall behind on daily mass intentions. We will return to one intention for daily Masses when new church is completed.)

All funerals, weddings, baptisms will be celebrated at St. Mary Church during this time

Sacrament of Reconciliation will be held at 4:30 p. m. at St. Mary’s or by appointment. While we have Mass in the gym there will not be 3 p. m. confessions at St. Jude

Weekend Masses will remain the same times with the St. Jude masses to be celebrated in the gym.

Entrance to St. Jude gym will be through both school entrances with handicap parking and entrance in the rear.

St. Jude Adoration chapel will be closed until new church is dedicated. Adorers are asked to sign up for times on the new chart in the present chapel.

Extraordinary ministers of communion for weekday visits will go to St. Mary for the Eucharist.

Extraordinary ministers of communion for Sunday visits will receive Eucharist after or before Masses in the gym.

Office hours-Monday and Wednesday from 9 a. m. -3 p. m., Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a. m. -1 p. m., or by appointment.

In case of emergency please call 570-474-6315 and follow the prompts. Your call will be returned as soon as possible by the on call priest, usually within an hour.

Saint Jude Picnic will be held August 11, 12, and 13.
