Boy Scouts from Troop 60

SCOUTS REFURBISH MAILBOXES TO RETIRE FLAGS-Three Boy Scouts from Troop 60, Mountaintop, recently completed some community service work for the American Legion, Mt Post 781. The Post has a number of retired mailboxes used to collect used flags in need of repair. The Scouts sanded, repainted and relabeled the boxes. The boxes are located at the Legion Post home and A & R Building Supply. In the near future, a 3rd box will be placed at the Slocum VFW. These are for the community’s use and everyone is encouraged to place their used flags in them so that the Legion can properly retire them. Shown are Brendan Croke, Patrick Curley, and Nathan Dunsmuir.
