PINKOUT GAME CANCER FUNDRAISER

PINKOUT GAME CANCER FUNDRAISER-The Crestwood Comets Girls Basketball Team held its annual Pink Out Game on Feb. 17, 2017. The coaches, team, and their Booster Club held a fundraiser to support those affected with and battling cancer. To encourage all, the team requested that those in attendance wear pink. During the game, many waging the war against cancer were honored and those who have lost the battle were memorialized. Many items were sold to raise money for the charity of choice, including pink tee-shirts and a 50/50 (the gentleman who won donated his winnings). This year’s charity was local to Mountain Top, the Think Pink Foundation. The check to Think Pink was given to them at a ceremony on May 4th 2017. A total of $1,586 was given to the charity that focuses on providing services of need to the community. Those in attendance at the check donation were, from left: Kathy Richards, Sydney Kearney, Emma Domzalski, Sydney Charton, Michelle Casey, Danielle Petros, Tori Casarella, Melanie Golden, Makayla Breslin, Anne Jardine and Pat Magin.
