Pancake Breakfast May 20 At Presbyterian Church

Pastor James Shanley , of the Presbyterian Church of Mountain Top, invites everyone to worship on Sunday, May 21, at 11 am as we celebrate Ascension Sunday! The sermon will be A World We Can’t Imagine delivered by Pastor Shanley. Sunday School begins at 9:30 am with classes for all ages through adult.

Pastor Shanley will lead the next adult Bible Study on May 17th and May 31st at 7:00 pm in the Sunday School classroom. The class will start a new study on the book of RUTH.

Come one Come all on Saturday May 20 for the 2nd annual PANCAKE BREAKFAST! Breakfast will be served from 8am til noon. Tickets are $8 for adults, $4 kids 5-10, under 5 FREE!. Support the church and enjoy a time of good food and fellowship.

The Deacons are expanding their HELPING HANDS Ministry. If you are interested in serving on the team either preparing meals or visiting shut ins and those needing a hand during a difficult time, contact Pam Zaprazny or any Deacon. This is an exciting way to serve God and the Church family.

The choir under direction of Bill Blannett practices Thursday at 7:00pm. If you are interested in sharing in thisawesome Ministry of Music, just show up on Thursday or talk to Bill at church. The Children’s Choir, directed by Ceil Blannett and Susan Malkemes, practices each week after Worship for about 15 minutes.

2017 dates to purchase bulletin covers to honor or recognize someone are now available. A month’s supply of bulletin covers is $35. If there is a certain month you would like to purchase check with the office for availability. Flowers are also available to purchase for $35 for the vases or a special arrangement for the pedestal. Contact Allison Pekar to schedule flowers or call the church office.

Please continue to donate your food items weekly to be given to the Mountain Top food bank. Bins are located at the rear of the Sanctuary. The need is great for packaged items, mayonnaise, coffee and sugar and peanut butter. Rice, carrots and red beets are also needed.

Although the National Day of Prayer is over, the need for prayer is not. Please continue to pray for the president and country!

Opportunities!:

Youth Group meets every other Sunday evening in Fellowship Hall. Contact the church office or Amy Randall for details.

God’s Tykes for elementary age kids meets Sunday on alternate weekends. Please contact Steve Koons for more information.

May 18-Welcome Club will from 11:30 to 2:30 in Fellowship Hall

May 20-PANCAKE Breakfast! 8am til noon or when food is gone!! Come Early!

June 11 we will celebrate and honor our Graduates. A reception will follow the Worship Service.
