Growing In God’s Service At Emmanuel UCC

Mary, Mary, quite contrary, how does your garden grow? Remember that old nursery rhyme? Mary had a wonderful garden full of silver bells and cockle shells and all little maids in a row.

Perhaps we should ask ourselves the same sort of question. Christian, Christian, how does your faith grow? Just as life is a never-ending learning experience, our faith should be a never-ending search for God. We can learn new things every day, not just about everyday life, but also about our God. But just as our gardens need nourishment, so does our faith. Some ways to nourish your faith include praying (talk to God, He listens), reading and studying the Scripture, and worshiping with other believers. We welcome you to come worship with us at Emmanuel and see how your faith can grow.
