LENTEN LAP BOOKS DESIGNED BY ST. JUDE KINDERGARTEN-The kindergarten students at St. Jude School in Mountaintop transformed plain purple folders into a meaningful Lenten project. The students are shown displaying the three parts that comprise their Lenten lap books. The front of the book shows a Resurrection heart that opens up to signify how much Jesus loves us. The back of the book shows a cross that is a reminder of how Jesus died for our sins. The open folder features a calendar that counted the forty days of Lent. The students colored a section each day. One side has a “Today I prayed for” list where the students wrote names of family and friends and specific intentions. The other side features a mini Story of Easter booklet. Shown, front from left: Jaxon Jones, Keirsi Mooney, Mia Correll, and Lance Wrightnour. Back: Paul Thomas, Alivia Sweet, and Tyler Barker.
