Sick or in the hospital? Would you like a visit from pastor? If you are in the hospital, please let us know. If you would like Pastor to make a visit for any particular reason, please contact Pastor directly or leave a message with the church secretary and Pastor will contact you to schedule a time. You are important to us, but we cannot address what we don’t know.

Bible Study continues every Thursday afternoon at 1 p. m.

Spring WELCA Rummage Sale will be held Saturday, May 6th 8:00 to 12:00pm. $1 Bag -2:00 to 4. Set up will be held Friday, May 5th 12:00 to Finish. Any questions please call Sue at 570-474-6558

Yarn Spinners will continue to work on the prayer shawls and baptismal blankets for Pastor. If any of you are talented in crocheting or knitting, or would like to learn, they cordially invite you to join them. Lessons will be given by Lois. If you can’t make their meetings, please call Lois Burge at 474-5502, and volunteer your talents by making the items at your own pace at home.

Please remember that the first Sunday of each month has been declared “Food Bank Day” and we ask that members remember those less fortunate by bringing non-perishable food items in order to keep up with the demand for food.

The following weekly meetings are scheduled: Stress and Anxiety Management every 2nd and last Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm; NA meetings: every Thursday at 6:00pm; AA meetings: every Wednesday and Friday at 7pm and Sundays at 7pm; and Weight Watchers: every Wednesday at 6:15pm.

Movie Night is Monday, April 24-Born to Win is based on a true story of Leon Terblanche. Leon is a teacher at a school for physically disabled children and is confronted with the question: “Where is God?” It sets him on a journey where he discovers that God has always been there.

A true story of how God turns the hurt, frustration and emptiness of a man into hope, faith and victory to inspire many to be the winners they were born to be.
