St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Announces Youth Activities

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Service Hours are 8:30 and 11:00 am. Sunday Church School begins ar 9:30 am

Lenten Services will be held every Wednesday at 11 a. m. and 7 p. m. through April 5th.

Bible Study continues every Thursday afternoon at 1:00 p. m.

Communion schedul2: April 9th, April 16th and April 30th.

Healing Service will be held on Wednesday, April 12th at 11 a. m.

Sick or in the hospital? Would you like a visit from pastor? If you are in the hospital, please let us know. If you would like Pastor to make a visit for any particular reason, please contact Pastor directly or leave a message with the church secretary and Pastor will contact you to schedule a time. You are important to us, but we cannot address what we don’t know

Youth Events-On Wednesday, April 5th we will gather to color eggs for our annual Easter Egg Event scheduled for Sunday, April 9th during the Sunday School hour. We will meet on Wednesday at 5:00 and conclude with pizza!

Easter Egg Hunt for all the children of the parish on Sunday, April 9th during the Sunday School hour.

April 13th –Maundy Thursday Dinner at 6 p. m. before Church Service. Please Sign up. The Dinner is being catered by Paluck’s Catering. A final count is needed by April 9th Service. Sign up sheets are on the Bulletin board as well as in the Narthex.

Spring WELCA Rummage Sale will be held Saturday, May 6th 8:00 to 12:00pm. $1 Bag -2:00 to 4:00. Set up will be held Friday, May 5th 12:00 to Finish. Any questions please call Sue at 570-474-6558

Yarn Spinners will continue to work on the prayer shawls and baptismal blankets for Pastor. If any of you are talented in crocheting or knitting, or would like to learn, they cordially invite you to join them. Lessons will be given by Lois. If you can’t make their meetings, please call Lois Burge at 474-5502, and volunteer your talents by making the items at your own pace at home. All would be most appreciative.

Please remember that the first Sunday of each month has been declared “Food Bank Day” and we ask that members remember those less fortunate by bringing nonperishable food items in order to keep up with the demand for food. Items needed are : Coffee, Peanut Butter, jelly, ketchup, dry soup, pudding and Jell-O mixes, and popcorn, pork & beans, canned tomatoes, canned soup, mustard, mayonnaise, tuna, macaroni & cheese and pasta (ex. Spaghetti), peas, canned pasta, and noodles.

The following weekly meetings are scheduled: Stress and Anxiety Management every 2nd and last Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm; NA meetings: every Thursday at 6:00pm; AA meetings: every Wednesday and Friday at 7pm and Sundays at 7pm; and Weight Watchers: every Wednesday at 6:15pm.
