Donald D. Klim, 79, Dorrance Township, died March 2, 2017, at Celtic Hospice, Wilkes-Barre, where he was a patient for the past week.
Born in Dorrance Township, on Dec. 14, 1937, he was a son of the late Thomas and Anna (Osiaw) Klim. He was raised and educated in Dorrance Township, and a member of the Slocum Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
“Soupy” as many knew him, loved walking and would often be seen on one of his regular journeys around Dorrance Township.
He is survived by brothers, Joseph Klim and wife, Roseanna, Dorrance Township; Paul Klim and wife, Margaret, Maryland; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John, Andrew, Michael, Thomas, and Nicholas Klim; and sisters, Mary Ontko, Julia Myers, and Helen Love.
At Donald’s request there will be no viewing. All services will be private at the convenience of the family.
