William Kotyk

William Kotyk, Mountain Top, died suddenly March 2, 2017, at his home. Born Dec. 30, 1945, in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late Andrew and Helen Daubert Kotyk. William attended Gate of Heaven school and was a graduate of Dallas Senior High School.

He was employed as a forklift operator by InterMetro Industries, retiring after 33 years. William enjoyed bowling with the Tuesday Morning Coffee Club at Stanton Lanes, hunting, racing, Penguins hockey and movies. He also loved to travel with his wife, Rosemarie, recently returning from Alaska and Hawaii.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, John and Andrew Kotyk Jr. Surviving are his wife, the former Rosemarie Lilienthal; son, Michael Danko and his wife, Elizabeth, Carbondale; daughter, Christine Danko and her husband, Darryl, Laurel Run, and their daughter, Kasey Lynn Danko; brothers, Robert Kotyk and his wife, Linda, Bedford, Texas; sisters, Gloria Volansky and her husband, George, Dupont; and Helen Lindsey, Scottsdale, Ariz.; nieces and nephews.
