Pastor James Shanely, Mountaintop Presbyterian Church, invites you to worship on Sunday, February 19, at 11:00 am. Sunday School begins at 9:30 am with classes for all ages through adult.
On Wed. Feb 22, at 7pm, Pastor Shanley will lead the next Bible Class on Worship. In March He will begin a weekly Lenten series.
On Saturday, February 25 from 11 til 3 will be the annual Jim Weaver Memorial Blood Drive. Please schedule your time to donate with the Red Cross, or just walk in and help save lives.
The Presbyterian Women will be holding their Spring Chili Sale on March 8. Place your order now to ensure a quart of the delicious dinner. Orders will be taken until Feb. 26 but will be limited to 75 quarts. Chili is sold for $8 a quart. All women are invited to help cook on March 8.
The choir under direction of Bill Blannett practices Thursday at 7:00pm. If you are interested in sharing in this awesome Ministry of Music, just show up on Thursday or talk to Bill at church. The Children’s Choir, directed by Ceil Blannett and Susan Malkemes, practices each week after Worship for about 15 minutes.
2017 dates to purchase bulletin covers to honor or recognize someone are now available. A month’s supply of bulletin covers is $35. If there is a certain month you would like to purchase check with the office for availability. Flowers are also available to purchase for $35 for the vases or a special arrangement for the pedestal. Contact Allison Pekar to schedule flowers or call the church office.
Please continue to donate your food items weekly to be given to the Mountain Top food bank. Bins are located at the rear of the Sanctuary. The need is great for packaged items, mayonnaise, coffee and sugar and peanut butter.
