LCCC HOLDS ANNUAL FACULTY AND ALUMNI JURIED ART EXHIBIT-Luzerne County Community College recently held its annual Faculty and Alumni Juried Art Exhibit at the College’s Schulman Gallery. The exhibit featured both traditional and digital artists as well as graphic designers, sculptors, photographers, and print makers. Both faculty and alumni art works received awards. Recipients of the awards for drawing/illustration were Keith Kratz, first place and Denise Evans, second place. Ashley Lopez took both first and second place in the mixed media/printmaking category. Painting award winners were Darrell McGinness, first place and Christopher White, second place. In the photography category, the first place winner was Mark James and the second place winner was Pete Nardone. Winners in the three-dimensional category were Gina Rice in first place and Ellen Brennan in second place. James Gavenus won the exhibit’s Diversity Award.
