Lady Striders ‘Couch To 5K’ Training Program Set

The Wyoming Valley Lady Striders announce their Spring Couch to 5K training program. This program is designed to get you off the couch and able to complete a 3 mile race in 7 weeks’ time, using intervals of walking and jogging.

Beginning March 6, 2017 we will meet three times per week for 30-45 minutes each time: Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:45 pm at the Church Street Park levee in Kingston; and Saturdays, 8:30 AM at Kirby Park. Our goal race will be the Max Fine 5K in Wilkes-Barre on 4/23/17. The program is coached by Karen Moskel –Runner, Susquehanna Community Prep Cross Country Coach, Wyoming Valley Strider’s VP, and Co-founder of Lady Striders; and Marjorie Adams –Runner, Dallas Cross Country and Track Coach, Wyoming Valley Strider’s Board of Directors, and Co-founder of Lady Striders.
