John L. Augustine III To Host Official Announcement For Magisterial District Judge
John L. Augustine

On Wednesday, February 15th from 5-7pm, John L. Augustine III will host a “Meet & Greet” to officially announce his candidacy for Magisterial District Judge.

This FREE, family-orientated event will be held at the Wright Township Volunteer Fire Hall.

John is running as the Community Candidate, as this position was created for the common person or “justice of the peace” to deal with neighborhood and community issues. Historically, this important community responsibility was served by someone who was not biased based on past experiences. He is not a lawyer, nor a police officer but someone who can be fair, impartial, neutral and reasonable to all -while also keeping the community’s best interests at heart.

John is certified and qualified by the Administrative Office of PA Courts, the Minor Judiciary Board and the PA Constitution to become the next Magisterial District Judge, for the greater Mountain Top Community.

He has always wanted to serve the public and give back to his community and has spent his personal and professional life doing so.

He will do his best to continue to make Mountain Top a great place, to live, work, play and raise a family. With your input, your support and most importantly -your vote, he hopes to continue that goal for your community, your families, and your children.

The FREE family-orientated event on Wednesday, February 15 from 5pm -7 pm. will include a DJ, bounce house, face painting, magician and more. Pizza, hot dogs, popcorn and refreshments will be served for the whole family. If there is poor weather, the event will be held the following day –2/16. Please RSVP -www.votejohnaugustine.com,or 570-362-7573.

John sits on the Board of Directors for the PA State Police / Troop “P” Wyoming Camp Cadet program. He started the Rice Township Neighborhood Community Watch and organized and chaired last year’s “Mountain Top Crime, Safety and Community” panel discussion, which attracted nearly 300 residents.

He is an associate member of the Fraternal Order of Police, a Son of the American Legion, a member of Kiwanis, Mountain Top on the Move, Kirby Library Board of Directors, Mountain Top Youth Soccer Association Board of Directors, youth sports coach, active member of St. Jude’s Church and a strong supporter of many local causes and charities and a loyal contributor to the area’s first responders.
