ST. JUDE SCIENCE LAB CREATIONS

ST. JUDE SCIENCE LAB CREATIONS-In keeping with the spirit of the season, the fifth grade students at St. Jude School combined science with creative construction and critical thinking skills. The students were given a specific amount of powdered sugar, water, marshmallows, and graham crackers, and challenged to create their own mock gingerbread style house. The scientific term they were studying during this lab was viscosity. The students soon learned about the importance of viscosity during their experiment as not all creations turned out to be the typical gingerbread style house!
