St. Mary’s of Dorrance is a welcoming church. The pastor of St. Mary’s is Rev. Joseph Evanko, and Rev. Jeffrey Tudgay, Assistant Pastor. The weekend Mass schedule is Saturday at 5:30 p. m. and Sunday at 9 a. m.
Hazardous Weather Conditions-In the event that Crestwood closes or delays school due to inclement weather daily Mass will be cancelled.
On Sundays, families will receive a phone call if Religious Education classes are cancelled. If school is cancelled on a Monday classes at Saint Jude are also cancelled.
Please know that safety is always our first priority. If your roads are bad and classes have not been cancelled please keep your children safe and miss class if necessary. You can call your child’s teacher to get the class assignment and homework.

Sanctuary Candles-There are Sanctuary Candle intentions still available for 2017. Candle intentions may be placed “in memory of” or “ in honor of” a friend or loved one. Donation is $5. Please call the parish office for availability.
The Knights of Columbus will be hosting their Annual Sweethearts’ Dance on Saturday, February 11 beginning at 6 p. m. The evening includes dinner, dancing, and refreshments. Tickets will be available soon.
Bishop Leading Pilgrimage to Spain and Portugal for Our Lady of Fatima Centennial-Bishop Joseph C. Bambera invites the faithful to join him on a special pilgrimage to Spain and Portugal in honor of the 100th anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima’s appearance to three young shepherd children in 1917. The pilgrimage will take place September 18-26, 2017 and will include Masses celebrated by the Bishop and visits to many sacred and historic sites, including nearly two days in Fatima where the Marian apparitions occurred.
The Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God, appeared six times to the children –Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta –near the town of Fatima, Portugal between May 13 and October 13, 1917. Diocesan Wedding Anniversary Mass & Celebration-His Excellency, the Most Reverend Joseph C. Bambera, D. D.,J. C. L., Bishop of Scranton and the Office for Parish Life wish to invite couples celebrating their 25th or 50th wedding anniversary in 2017 to a diocesan Wedding Anniversary Mass to be held on Sunday, June 11, 2017. The event includes a 2:30 P. M. Mass at St. Peter’s Cathedral, Scranton followed by a reception.
