Thursday, February 2

Hide-n’-Seekers Program for Preschoolers; 10 a. m.

Registration required.

Join us for a program to get preschoolers ages 3-5 out and learning about our natural world through stories, activites, and crafts. Weather permitting, we’ll go outside for part of the program, so children should be dressed accordingly.

Saturday, February 4

WinterFest 2017; 11 a. m.–3 p. m.

Join us for our annual WinterFest! Many returning favorites will be here, including children’s activities, snowshoe demos, and more! We’ll have a warming fire and Dennison Township Volunteer Fire Department will have hot food and beverages to purchase, so don’t let the cold keep you away! Activities may be modified due to snow and ice conditions.

Wednesday, February 8

Golden Bald Eagle Watch; 9 a. m. –4 p. m.

Registration required.

Seniors and retirees are invited to join our staff for a field trip through the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area in search of wintering and resident bald eagles. Sightings are likely but not guaranteed, as our van will make many stops at hotspots to get out and search. We’ll also make stops for restrooms and a late lunch in Milford, but participants should plan for a full day in the field; pack a drink, snack, money for lunch and dress to be outdoors.

If you need an accommodation to participate in park activities due to a disability, please contact the park or make inquiries through the Pennsylvania AT&T Relay Service at 1-888-537-7294 (TTY). Bureau of State Parks Staff will gladly discuss how to accommodate your needs. With at least three days notice, interpreters for people who are deaf or hard of hearing are available for educational programs.
